Gadag: A change in leadership in the state is not acceptable, said Sri Ram Sena Chief Pramodh Muthalik.
Speaking in Gadag, Muthalik said that the stature that Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has grown to is a result of his immense hard work over decades.
“The CM has efficiently handled the COVID situation in the state. People are scared because of the pandemic and a few are playing politics at this juncture of time, which is incorrect, ” he said.
Speaking about his political aspirations not being met, he said that he tried to gain political prominence because he wanted to fortify Hindutva, but that seems to have no importance in today’s politics.
“Today’s politics values the corrupt. People like us are not needed in this arena and hence I stayed away from active politics, ” he opined.
Speaking about the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, he said that silver coated sculpture and holy water from Anjanadri betta in Koppal will be sent to Ayodhya after religious rituals. This gains importance because there is a belief that Lord Hanuman was born in Anjanadri Betta.
