A 29-year-old man, Bhushan Patil, from Khanapur, Belagavi, tragically lost his life after being hit by an APSRTC bus near Kempegowda Bus Station’s Terminal 3 in Bengaluru on Monday evening.
The incident occurred around 7:15 PM when Bhushan was crossing the road near the terminal entrance. The speeding bus (AP-04-Z-0208), turning into the terminal, struck him, resulting in severe head injuries. Bhushan was rushed to a private hospital in Chickpet but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Chamarajapet traffic police have detained the bus driver and registered a case. Authorities are awaiting further details about Bhushan, including his occupation and Bengaluru residence, as his parents travel from Khanapur.
