PM Modi and CM Siddaramaiah to Campaign Simultaneously in Belagavi

Belagavi: With the first phase of Lok Sabha elections concluded, political parties are now focusing on the remaining 14 Lok Sabha seats in the state, scheduled to vote on May 7. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will be campaigning in Belagavi district on the same day for the BJP and Congress party, respectively, according to sources.

The second phase of voting for the 14 Lok Sabha seats will be held on May 7. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Belagavi tomorrow (April 28) seeking support for BJP candidates, former Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar and Anna Saheb Jolle, who are contesting from Belagavi and Chikkodi constituencies, respectively. The PM will address voters at the Malini City Grounds on that day and later fly to Uttar Kannada district, where in Sirsi town, he will address a rally organized for BJP candidate Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri.

On the same day, the CM will visit Belagavi and the Chikkodi constituency, seeking votes for Congress candidates Mrinal Hebbalkar and Priyanka Jarkiholi contesting from Belagavi and Chikkodi Lok Sabha seats, respectively. According to sources, the CM will address a poll rally organized in Yaragatti town in the Belagavi constituency and in Ugarkhurd in the Chikkodi constituency.

The Congress party is striving to win both Lok Sabha seats, which have become strongholds of the BJP. In the second phase, Dharwad, Belagavi, Chikkodi, Raichur, Kalaburgi, Bidar, Haveri-Gadag, Uttara Kannada, Davanagere, Vijayapura, Shivamogga, Bagalkote, Ballari, and Koppal will go to polling.

As per the itinerary of PM Modi, later in the day, he will address a rally in Davangere and fly to Hospete, where he will address voters. He will stay in Hospete, and the next day (April 29), he will address a rally in Bagalkote, and from there, he will fly to Solapur.
