Belagavi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing an election rally in Belagavi city on April 28. This will be the first visit of the Prime Minister to the north part of Karnataka after the announcement of the Lok Sabha election.
The PM will deliver a public speech at the Malini City Ground located on BS Yediyurappa road at 12 pm on that day, seeking support for former Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar, who is contesting against Mrinal Hebbalkar, son of Women and Child Welfare Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar, on the Congress ticket.
Additionally, the PM will also seek votes for Anna Saheb Jolle, who is seeking re-election from the Chikkodi Lok Sabha segment. Priyanka Jarkiholi, daughter of PWD Minister Satish Jarkiholi, is contesting against Jolle.
