Belagavi: While the ‘cold war’ between the Jarkiholi brothers (Ramesh and Satish) continues over their political differences, a satirical song has been released on social media, accusing the Gokak Municipal Corporation of indulging in corruption during the flood relief activities.

At the start of the song, the title “Kelranno Keli” (generally used in folk culture to call alert people) is seen, after which former minister Satish Jarkiholi appears on screen, talking about the corruption in the Gokak Municipal Corporation. He also requests the viewer to like and share the video.

Text keeps flashing in the subtitle section, stating that for one tractor trip, assigned for flood relief activities, the municipal corporation had released Rs 1200, Rs 400 of which was paid to the tractor owner and rest was ‘eaten’ by members in the municipal corporation.

In one part of the video, images of disqualified MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi’s brother-in-law Ambirao and the municipal corporation commissioner are displayed, accusing them of being involved in the corruption.

The video has been posted on YouTube and some have suggested that this could be a continuation of the ‘cold war’ between the brothers.
