Vijayapura: MC Managuli, 85 years, a former minister and JDS MLA from Sindagi in Vijayapura district died at a private hospital in the city today morning.
He is the eldest member of the state assembly. He was a minister in HD Kumaraswamy led JDS-Congress government.
He was admitted to a city hospital 25 days ago after he developed breathing issues.
He had contested for election 7 times and won twice. He was also part of HD Deve Gowda led Janata Dal Government in the year 1994.
His body is taken to his native village for the funeral.
