Vijayapura: A demonstration unfolded in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s residence in Ambedkar Circle on Friday night as students from the BCM hostel, led by the Dalit Vidyarthi Parishad, rallied for the redressal of various grievances.
The protest centered on alleged irregularities in food supply within the hostel, citing concerns with the practices of the cooking staff. Tensions escalated as the students claimed dissatisfaction with the kitchen helper’s response, compelling them to demand the immediate presence of the Deputy Commissioner.
