Vijayapura: Shambhulinga Swamiji of Shivabasava Yogaashrama in the City passed away due to cardiac arrest.
He suffered a heart attack on Tuesday December 20 night. On hearing the news, the devotees came to the ashram on the morning of Wednesday December 21 and had darshan of the seer.
He conducted a special study and earned a large number of devotees through his discourses. Over the past few years, he has been active in inculcating moral values in the society, especially among the youth, through activities such as brainstorming sessions and monthly Shivanubhava sessions.
Arrangements were made for the devotees to have the last darshan of the Seer in the City.
