Belthangady: Heavy rains lashed Belthangady taluk on Tuesday. This is the first time there has been such a heavy rainfall during this year’s monsoon season.
A house and a shed in Sulkerimogru village were damaged after a tree fell on them. Water stagnant on rural roads, including National highways, created problems for traffic.
In some areas, the rural roads are in a very bad shape and the flow of rivers, streams and lakes are full.
