Bengaluru: A radio programme related to exam preparations for SSLC students has reportedly been stopped.

The programme was being broadcasted on All India Radio in collaboration with the state education department, especially for students from rural backgrounds. It was broadcasted in 14 AIR stations simultaneously.

The programme dealt with how a student should prepare and face the SSLC examinations and was broadcasted from 2.30 pm to 3 pm, from January to March, every year. The programme had also received a lot of appreciation from the parents

The state education department has reportedly decided to go for YouTube telecast instead of radio broadcast.

As per reports, the department could not manage to avail the permission for telecast on YouTube, as a result of which, the students will likely not be able to tune in to the programme or even watch it.

Meanwhile, the SSLC board exams are scheduled to begin from March 27.
