Bengaluru: The Sankeerana School of Dance is all set to hold its sixth annual programme themed “Thathva- The elements” at the Indian Consulate Auditorium on Friday, April 13.
The Dance event is homage to the elements that constitute life on earth through an art form that existed in India for thousands of years. The school will present an evening filled with wide repertoire of talent, discipline, expression and passion. Paying homage to the omnipresent, the evening has been sewn together with an aesthetic sense of beauty and is sure to appeal audience’s artistic palate, the press release said.
Renowned bharathanatyam artiste and guru Chandra Subramanian and CSR coordinator Mohan N. will be the chief guests of the evening.
The brainchild of Vidushi Spana Kiran, Sankeerna School of Dance for Bharatanatyam, has been training budding artistes in classical dance forms since 2011.
