Bengaluru: If the intervention by party supremo HD Deve Gowda fails, 19 JDS lawmakers may likely launch resort politics in a Mangaluru resort from today. These lawmakers are likely to join the BJP or the Congress.
According to the sources, these lawmakers include party state president HK Kumaraswamy from Sakleshpura reserved constituency, GT Devegowda, former minister Gubbi Shrinivasa, MLC Saravana among others.
According to the sources close to these MLAs, they wanted former CM HD Kumaraswamy to cancel his London trip and stay back in the city and listen to them. However, Kumaraswamy announced that no force on the earth can stop him from visiting London. He also stated that he will not attend any truce meeting or hold dialogues with the rebels.
