Bengaluru: A 20-year-old man, Vishal Kumar, tragically lost his life, and his mother, Mamatha, sustained grievous injuries in a road accident on the Tumakuru flyover near Dobbspet, located on the northern outskirts of Bengaluru, on Sunday. The accident occurred when their two-wheeler collided with a truck.

Details of the Incident
The police have identified Vishal Kumar as an employee of a private company in Bidadi. His mother, Mamatha, aged 45, is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital for her injuries. According to the police, the accident took place around 2:30 pm as the duo was travelling to Tumakuru to visit Kumar’s elder sister.

Cause of the Accident
Preliminary investigations suggest that the truck, which was moving ahead of the bike, suddenly applied brakes, leading to the collision.
