Bengaluru: 23 Pourakarmikas in the city tested positive for the COVID 19. All have been sent to the designated COVID 19 hospitals.
On June 21, a 54 years old pPourakarmika from the JJ Nagar died due to infection by the COVID 19 virus. After that, the swab of 80 Pourakarmikas staying in the JJ Nagar, Pantara Palya, and other locations were sent for testing. It has now been confirmed that 23 of them have COVID 19
Following these findings, the BBMP is planning to conduct a swab test of all the Pourakarmikas.
