23 robbers fall in police net; 11 major robbery cases busted

Bengaluru: In a big priced catch for the north division of police, the cops have succeeded in nabbing 23 habitual offenders and recovered stolen items worth whopping Rs 1.71 Crore.

The cops have arrested 23 persons thus cracking 11 major robbery cases registered in the city in last few days. Out of arrested 6 persons are natives of Nepal.

The recovered items includes 2 kgs of gold ornaments, 832 grams of opium, an ancient idol of lord Krishna and others. Police have managed to recover 5.27 lac cash from the arrested persons.

The robbery cases were registered at RMC Yard, Yeshwanthpura and JC Nagar police station limits.
