Bengaluru: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President DK Shivakumar informed that 60 party members from the BJP and the JDS have shown interest to join the party.
“They have all submitted a written application to us. We are scrutinising them,” said DK Shivakumar.
“We can’t take all of them. After scruitinising their strengths and our requirements, we will take them into the party fold,” he said.
Meanwhile, former MLC, JDS leader Suresh Babu joined Congress. He was serving the JDS as the state general secretary till recently.
