Bengaluru: A 72-year-old man died after falling from the 18th floor of an apartment building near Tank Bund Road under KP Agrahara Police limits on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased, identified as Parameshwara, lived with his wife and children at ETA The Gardens apartments.
Police investigate circumstances
According to Police, Parameshwara came out of his home around 1.45 pm and subsequently fell from the building.
The apartment’s security guard alerted his family and the Police after noticing the incident. Family members reportedly told Police that he might have fallen accidentally.
Police have not yet established the exact circumstances leading to the fall. While a possible case of suicide is being examined, the family has indicated that the fall could have been accidental.
Postmortem conducted
The body was sent for postmortem examination, while Police registered an Unnatural Death Report.
Investigators are examining the circumstances surrounding the incident and are yet to ascertain the exact cause of the fall.
