78 women rescued from two bars, three arrested

Bengaluru: The CCB police have rescued 78 women who were working as dancers at two dance bars in the city. A total of 100 audience members have also been detained and three persons were arrested in connection with the incident.

According to the CCB police, these girls were rescued from the Brigade Night and Night Queen bar and restaurants. Brigade Night is located in the upmarket Brigade Road, while Night Queen is located in Kalasipalya. These 78 women would dance and entertain the customers, violating the rules.

The police have arrested Ashok Shetty, manager of Brigade Night and Sachin, the cashier. They also arrested P Mohan, manager of the Night Queen bar.

The CCB police also informed that Rs 4.25 lakhs was seized, along with other commodities like loudspeakers, laptops etc.
