Bengaluru: The NEET UG re-examination was held on Monday, May 20, for the over one hundred students who had registered for the same, after missing the original examination that was held on May 5. A total of 110 students had registered for the re-examination after the date was announced. However, only 84 of the 110 who registered for the re-examination appeared to answer the test.
It can be recalled that, on May 5, around 500 hundred students were unable to answer the NEET UG examination because of a delay in the Hampi Express train plying from North Karnataka to Bengaluru.
As many as 80 of the students who appeared for the examination, produced their railway tickets from May 4 and 5, while the other students produced an undertaking informing that they were unable to appear for the examination due to unavoidable circumstances.
