9 IPS officers transferred in K’taka

Bengaluru: The State Government on Thursday January 27 has transferred nine IPS officers. Bheemashankar S. Guled, who was with the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) for Bengaluru’s East Division.

Ravi D. Channannavar is the Managing Director of the Karnataka Maharshi Valmiki Schedule Tribe Development Corporation in Bengaluru, where he formerly worked as an SP in the CID. Abdul Ahad has been transferred from the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) and posted as Director (Security & Vigilance), KSRTC.

According to sources, Koppal SP T. Sheedhara is transferred as SP, Directorate of Civil Rights Enforcement, Bengaluru, while T. P. Shivakumar who was SP (Prisons) is posted as SP, Chamarajanagara, replacing Divya Sara Thomas, who is transferred to Karnataka Police Academy, Mysuru, as Deputy Director.
