Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has directed its crew to accept Rs.10 coin from the passengers.
This direction has been issued by the BMTC following complaints by the passengers that conductors are not receiving this coin.
It can be recalled that due to the confusion that these Rs.10 coins are fake, conductors are not accepting them, causing inconvenience to the passengers.
Following repeated instances of the conductors not recieving the coins, the passengers had raised the issue with the BMTC management.
Based on the complaint by the passengers now the BMTC management has issued a circular in this regard.
It can be recalled that recently the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) also had issued similar circular clarifying that Rs.10 coins are not fake.
