A 25-year-old man was found dead near a flyover in Kodigehalli on Sunday night, prompting a police investigation into the suspected murder.
The victim, identified as Muniraju, was a resident of Shivashankar Layout in Hebbal and worked as an accountant at a private company. According to police sources, Muniraju had left home earlier that evening to meet a friend but never returned.
Later, passersby discovered him lying in a pool of blood near the flyover and alerted authorities. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Investigators recovered a two-wheeler believed to belong to a possible suspect, as well as a mobile phone from the scene. “The mobile device is currently being examined, and CCTV footage from the surrounding area is under review,” a police officer stated.
Authorities are working to establish the motive and identify the individuals involved in the incident.
