Bengaluru: With the battle for the state assembly elections heating up, political parties are making a bid to woo famed actors into their folds to cash on their popularity among masses.
One such actor happens to be Sudeep, who according to earlier media reports was being persuaded by the BJP to join their party and contest elections from Raichur for Lok Sabha elections.
The recent news doing the rounds in the political circles is that the actor has been approached by actor-turned-politician Ramya who it is believed has offered him a Congress ticket to contest the upcoming assembly elections from Molakalmuru constituency in Chitradurga.
A recent meeting between Sudeep and Siddaramaiah has only fuelled the suspicions.
Meanwhile, the actor has not yet affirmed the news.
