Bengaluru: ADGP Sanjay Sahay, who is working with the computer wing of the state police, lost his mobile phone to bike-borne snatchers for the second time, on Thursday night.
According to the HSR Layout police, while Sahay was standing in front of his residence in HSR Layout IV stage, two bike-borne thieves snatched his mobile phone and fled the scene.
Sahay had previously lost his phone to thieves earlier this year on February 3.
The police began an investigation into the incident by verifying CCTV footage from the area. They also questioned the local rowdy sheeters who are known to be part of the mobile theft racket.
