Bengaluru: Aditya Rao’s confession to the Mangaluru police, that he was frustrated as he was not able to get a good job, has inspired the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) to launch #NaukariKiBaat, a missed call campaign against the state and Central governments for the rise in unemployment across the state.
As part of the campaign, the KPCC has called upon the people to give a missed call to the number +91 8151994411 if they don’t have a job.
The party launched an aggressive campaign on social media seeking support for the new campaign. The party is hopeful that at least 10 lakh youths will participate in the campaign.
The campaign was launched on the KPCC’s Twitter handle. “The life of the youth who are supposed to be the light of India’s hope, is shifting to the dark with a severe unemployment problem. Even so, the @narendramodi government is still silent. Come, let us fight against this danger, let’s take part in the Unemployment Registration Campaign by giving a missed call to the number 8151994411,” the tweet read in Kannada.
