Bengaluru: Former minister, turncoat leader, AH Vishwanath, who is also a BJP MLC has rushed to New Delhi to lobby for ministerial berth in the Karnataka state cabinet.
Vishwanath, who lost in the Hunsur by election was made an MLC recently under the literature quota. However, he has failed to make his way into the BSY cabinet due to his electoral defeat.
Vishwanath, who served both Congress and JDS joined the BJP, which helped the party to form a government in the state.
Vishwanath is likely to meet senior BJP and RSS leaders in New Delhi today and discuss about his political future.
