Bengaluru: All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary Madhusudan Mistry and secretary Bhakta Charan Das will meet senior party leaders from the state today at the Congress office on Queen’s Road, to discuss strategies for the party’s revival in Karnataka.
The party is aiming for a return to power in the 2023 state Assembly elections.
According to KPCC sources, all leaders, except for former minister Siddaramaiah, have been asked to meet these two leaders separately and give their opinion.
The two AICC leaders will also discuss Siddaramaiah and Dinesh Gundu Rao’s resignations following the party’s humiliating defeat in the recently concluded Assembly by-election.
To Mistry, Karnataka is not new as he was the AICC state in-charge for many years.
