Bengaluru: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) Spokesperson and actress Khushboo has been accused of slapping a youth, here on Thursday, April 11.
Khushboo was campaigning for Congress-Janata Dal (S) coalition candidate from Bengaluru Central, Rizwan Ahmed, yesterday, i.e., on Wednesday, April 10.
At around 3.30 PM, the campaigning had reached Gautampura area and Khushboo was seen walking amid the crowd.
Suddenly, she turned and slapped a youth who had got a little too close to her twice, after which a police officer too slapped and pushed the youth away from the campaign scene.
When Rizwan Ahmed was asked by the media later in the night about the incident, he said, “I am not very sure about the incident as I was on the canvassing vehicle. But according to the information I received, the mistake was from the youth’s side as he allegedly tried to touch Khushboo inappropriately.”
The sources from Congress also stand by Rizwan’s statement.
