Bengaluru: As part of the enhanced security measures for the Air Show, the Yahahanka police started the Aadhaar verification process in and around Yalahanka.
According to the police, they are visiting each house/ apartment and checking the details of the residents using their Aadhaar number.
“Air Show is a prestigious show and to ensure that no untoward incident will happen, this exercise has been taken up,” said police.
According to the sources, the police are also collecting the details of new residents who have arrived at the area. Few apartment owners have been directed to furnish the details of all their occupants.
Meanwhile, the BBMP has banned the sale of all meat and meat related products in 10 kilometres radius of the Air Show area to avoid any bird hits at the time of the show.
