Bengaluru: BJP National President Amit Shah will carry out Bengaluru city tour under ‘Karunada Jagruti Yatre’ on April 18 (today) and April 19 (tomorrow).
BJP General Secretary Shobha Karandlaje said, “Amit Shah will begin his tour with a floral tribute to the Basaveshwara statue on the occasion of Basava Jayanti. Later, he would collect advice from senior researcher M.Chidanandamurthy and poet Siddalingayya for the manifesto, by visiting their houses.”
“The tour of Shah would fill new energy in state BJP and enthusiasm among the workers. He would stress upon strengthening the party in all 28 constituencies of Bengaluru City,” she added.
Meanwhile, Shobha Karandlaje informed that BJP State President B S Yeddyurappa will file his nomination on April 19 from Shikharipur. On the occasion, Chattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh and Union Minister Ananth Kumar will be present.
Until the end of the election, most of the time Amit Shah will stay in the state and design the strategy. A 6-room house is ready for him near Basaveshwara Circle. Security personnel checked the house on Tuesday. It will act like a war room until the end of the election.
