Bengaluru: Finally, Tejaswini Ananth Kumar, wife of former union minister Late Ananth Kumar joined the BJP campaign trail. On Tuesday night she participated in the road show carried out by BJP national president Amith Shah and she was in the first row next to BJP state president BS Yeddyurappa.
The roadshow was delayed by one hour due to the delay in the arrival of Shah. Once he arrived he changed the mood of the entire crowd. The road show continued till 10 pm and Shah didn’t speak keeping in mind the Model Code of Conduct.
Former DCM R Ashok and party candidate from Bengaluru South Tejaswi Surya were also present. Speaking before the road show, Tejaswi Surya justified his nomination by stating if one can become a DC, SP and captain of the cricket team before 28 years of age, why a youth leader cannot become an MP.
