Bengaluru: Here is another reason why the people love police officers like Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) K Annamalai, who recently resigned from the police department. Even though he is on his notice period, Annamalai is continuing to implement a number of novel initiatives in police stations falling under his purview, the latest of which are small libraries in 17 stations falling under the South range.
In a series of tweets, Annamalai announced the opening of these libraries writing, “We have opened a library across each of the 17 police stations of South Division Bengaluru city police. We have started with 20 books each. The aim is to make cops become more learned, smarter & well rounded. Please consider donating as well if you feel so. (sic)”
