Apple unveiled its brand new office in the bustling heart of Bengaluru, marking a significant expansion in its commitment to India. Nestled in the Minsk Square area, surrounded by prestigious landmarks like the parliament and Chinnaswamy stadium, the 15-storey building is set to be a hub for over 1,200 employees.

The office is designed to achieve LEED Platinum certification, the highest environmental rating, and is fully powered by renewable energy. Locally sourced materials and native plants abound throughout the space. Apple’s global commitment to using renewable energy sources and being carbon neutral is in line with this. To promote innovation, creativity, and employee well-being, there is a special lab area, collaborative spaces, wellness centers, and even “Caffe Macs.” The Cubbon Park metro station is also conveniently located.

Teams across software, hardware, services, operations, customer support, and more will work out from the new Apple office in Bengaluru.

“Apple is thrilled to expand in India with our new office in the heart of Bengaluru. This dynamic city is already home to so many of our talented teams, including software engineering and hardware technologies, operations, customer support, and more. Like everything we do at Apple, this workspace is created to foster innovation, creativity, and connection. It’s an amazing space for our teams to collaborate,” said an Apple spokesperson.

With over 25 years of presence, Apple currently employs close to 3,000 people in India. Along with empowering communities to protect their environment through programs like Frank Water, which Apple supports through partnerships with Indian suppliers, the company has also been responsible for hundreds of thousands of jobs.

Apple’s new office represents another important milestone in the company’s India journey, as it expands upon its current network in Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Gurugram. Additionally, Apple opened its first two retail locations in Mumbai and New Delhi last year.
