Bengaluru: Vijayanagara (Hospet) MLA Anand Singh has been discharged from the hospital and sources say that he was discharged against the medical advice.
Anand Singh, who was injured in a resort brawl with his MLA colleague JN Ganesh of Kampli was being treated at a private hospital of the city. But he was discharged on Monday night and was taken back to his city residence on early Tuesday morning.
“The doctors who were treating him advised him to remain in the hospital for one more week, but party leaders decided against it. He will be treated at his home for next 15 days,” informed a Congress leader from Ballari.
Meanwhile, JN Ganesh, Kampli MLA, who is accused of assaulting Singh still at large. If sources in the Congress camp are to be believed, then Ganesh may have joined the BJP camp. “He is expected to make a grand direct entry to the assembly hall after getting interim bail,” sources informed.
