Bengaluru: Congress which is sensing a comeback in Karnataka has decided to launch district-wise manifestos for the forthcoming State Assembly election.
The election for the State Assembly will be held in early 2023. According to Party State Unit President D. K. Shivakumar who was in Hassan on organisational tour said the idea is helping the party to focus on the micro voting behaviour of the voters.
“The problems of the district is different from one district to another. Same strategy can’t be applied everywhere. So, we decided to prepare district wise manifesto which will help the voters to connect with the party,” he said.
He also informed that tens of senior leaders from JD (S) and BJP are knocking the doors of party. “We will take a decision based on their real strength and social service,” he said.
