Bengaluru: The audio tapes that allegedly exposed several of Karnataka’s officers and politicians have also shown that several high ranking officers have integrity and honesty.

It can be recalled that a power broker’s alleged conversation with a senior IPS officer, the audio of which was recorded, exposed a rotten system.

According to sources, the power broker tried to make conversation with two senior-most IPS officers Kamal Panth and Amar Kumar Pandey regarding the city Police Commissioner’s post and other matters. The officers, however, didn’t entertain him.

“Both the officers are role models for all. They never lobbied for any posts and the government must consider such officers for key posts,” the sources stated.

“The power broker’s alleged conversion with a police officer has ruined the reputation of the entire state and bureaucracy,” the sources added.
