Bengaluru: The sleuths of Narcotics and Human Trafficking wing of City Crime Branch (CCB) have arrested an autorickshaw driver for selling cocaine in the city. The police have identified the accused as Raghavendra Kumar R (32) of Kaudenahalli, near Ramamurthy Nagar.The police have seized 2.5 gms of cocaine worth Rs 1.30 lakh, two mobile phones and an autorickshaw (KA-03 AC 4781) from the accused. The police team, under the guidance of S T Siddalingappa, Assistant Commissioner of Police, CCB, nabbed the accused at 15th Cross, near SBI ATM, on TC Palya Main Road while he was trying to sell the cocaine to customers.
The police found the accused used to get the cocaine from Ignatius Nonsoiekem alias David alias Shivai alias Paul alias CY, who hails from Nigeria, and sell it to the customers for higher price.
A case has been registered at Ramamurthy Nagar police station.
