Bengaluru: The state police have made elaborate arrangements to maintain law and order as the Supreme Court judgement on the Ayodhya case is expected on Thursday.
According to the sources in the state police department, all the Superintendents of Police of every district have been directed to move the additional police forces towards the sensitive areas to prevent any untoward incident.
A senior police informed that all the SPs are directed to be at the headquarters and keep an eye on the developments across their jurisdiction.
“The KSRP and additional forces are kept in standby. Insensitive cities including Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Hubballi-Dharwad, and Belagavi already additional police personnel are deployed as a precautionary measure,” he said.
