Bengaluru: The Bengaluru South police nabbed two of the accused in Bharat alias Dolly murder case, here on Monday, April 15.
On Sunday, April 7, at around 9.30 PM, Bharat had physically assaulted Vinod Sagar alias Vinu (20), a resident of Mathikere and Akash alias Kencha (22) of Sonnenahalli over petty reasons. Enraged by this Vinu and Kencha, along with another accused Nagaraj had killed Bharat on Friday, April 12, with a dagger.
They had stabbed Bharat on his chest and abdomen and later smashed his head killing Bharat on the spot.
After the Bengaluru South police started a hunt for the accused, the accused on Sunday, April 14, confessed to their involvement in Bharat’s murder.
Accused Vinod Sagar has five cases on him pertaining to physical assault and theft in several police stations of the city, while Akash has two attempts to murder and one physical assault cases in K P Agrahara Police Station. Another accused Nagaraj is absconding.
Meanwhile, the police have seized the dagger used in Bharat’s murder.
