Bengaluru: The Banaswadi police have arrested two persons for misbehaving with a woman who was returning home from gymnasium in HRBR Layout nine days ago.
The police nabbed the duo after verifying the CCTV camera footage in and around the area. The police have identified the accused as Nanda (30) from D.J. Halli and Mubarak (21) from K.G. Halli, who had pulled the woman’s T-shirt. The police said the victim managed to escape and raised an alarm. Passersby came to help, but the accused fled.
The police said one of the accused Nanda was arrested on Thursday while Mubarak was nabbed on Friday. The police said the accused confessed that they wanted to snatch her bag and in the process pulled her T-shirt.
