In light of the public holiday declared by the Karnataka state government on December 27, Bangalore University has postponed its second semester MBA exam originally scheduled for Friday. The state government declared the holiday following the passing of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on Thursday night.

Early Friday morning, the university issued a notice announcing the postponement of the exam. “Due to the demise of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, the state government has declared a holiday today. In this regard, the MBA (2nd semester) examination scheduled to be held today (27-12-2024) at Bangalore University has been canceled and postponed. The revised examination date will be announced soon,” said the notice from Srinivas C, Registrar (Evaluation) at BU.

The university assured that new exam dates would be announced shortly.
