BBMP brings down number of containment wards to 23 in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: In a big relief to the city residents, the number of containment wards from where Covid 19 positive cases are reported have been brought down to 23.

The number of such wards stood at 44 during the begining of this week.

According to the latest containment wards list released by the BBMP, in RR Nagar zone 2 wards are notified as the containment wards.

“Bommanahalli-3, Mahadevapura-1, East -6, South -7, and in West zone 4 wards are notified as the containment zones,” said sources.

With the drop in the number of Covid 19 cases, the city is slowly returning to normalcy.

“But the biggest concern is the arrival of people from across the country who were stuck at the time of lockdown,” informed a BBMP officer.

Meanwhile, the traffic chaos re-started in most part of the city with in many places.
