Bengaluru: BBMP Commissioner, N. Manjunatha Prasad tested positive for Covid-19 on December 22.
He was under quarantine until December 22 and revealed the results of the test through his official Twitter account. He has been admitted to Mallige Hospital with mild symptoms.

He urged everyone who has been in contact with him at the meeting and other events to get tested for Covid-19 immediately.
Just a few days before, he was seen officiating the ‘My City Budget Bus’ campaign and inaugurating the ‘Fit India Cyclothon’.
In the last 24 hours, 585 people got infected, 686 people recovered and 8 people have succumbed to the virus in the city.
