Bengaluru: BBMP has asked all the private hospitals to reserve 10% of their beds for the Covid 19 patients.
An order in this regard was issued by N Manjunath Prasad hours before his transfer to the revenue department as the principal secretary. As per the order, this direction is applicable for the next 7 days.
The BBMP has asked the hospitals to display the information related to the number of beds available, category of beds, and the applicable charges. It has also asked the private hospitals to depute separate doctors and paramedical staff for the treatment of the Covid 19 patients.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, March 31 BBMP received 4 lakh doses of Covishield vaccine.
