Bengaluru: Following the collapse of two old buildings in the City, the BBMP has decided to carry out a survey of all the old buildings in the City.
“In all the 8 zones, this survey will be carried out. In 30 days, a report will be prepared,” said Gaurav Gupta, Chief Commissioner of the BBMP.
“I have asked officials to furnish 2019 survey report in next two days,” he said. He assured the City residents that such instances will not see a repeat and BBMP will take all the precautionary measures.
It can be recalled here that following the collapse of two old buildings in the gap of two days created chaos in the City with many urging the BBMP to raze down the unstable structures.
