Bengaluru: BBMP commissioner N Manjunath Prasad directed lodging of FIR against four private hospitals for failing to reserve 50% of beds for the Covid-19 patients.
These four hospitals are facing the accusations that they didn’t give away 50% of the beds for the Covid-19 patients referred by the BBMP.
Among these four hospitals, three are corporate chain of hospitals.
The BBMP also decided to issue notices to 36 hospitals for failing to follow its instructions.
“We will not shut down these hospitals. Instead we will register case against their owners,” said N Manjunath Prasad.
