A recently released BBMP video showcasing Bengaluru’s tunnel road project has become the subject of online ridicule. Sharp-eyed netizens spotted glaring errors, with many pointing out that the video appeared to copy visuals from Mumbai’s tunnel project reports.

In one major blunder, the video includes references to Mumbai landmarks, displaying “Entry to Nariman Point” and a Worli signboard, both unmistakably tied to India’s financial capital. Additionally, incorrect map placements raised eyebrows—Bengaluru’s international airport was misplaced near Nelamangala, and Nagasandra was wrongly depicted as its location.

This isn’t the first slip-up related to the tunnel road project. Earlier, a Detailed Project Report (DPR) by a private consultant was also accused of copying elements from Mumbai’s plan, leading to serious concerns over the project’s authenticity and accuracy.

With these repeated errors, citizens worry that such carelessness may extend to the actual construction, sparking fears about execution quality and efficiency.
