Bengaluru: Wilson Garden Police has arrested a gang of three for stealing Rs. 80 lakh belonging to a businessman from Gubbi.
All three arrested are from Andhra Pradesh. Among them, two are brothers and red sander smugglers.
It is learnt that the gang disguised as policemen, robbed cash from the arecanut businessman’s employees near Shanthinagar Bus Stand in the last week of December.
In all, Rs. 37 lakh has been recovered from the gang. The gang has spent some amount of the loot in gambling, it is learnt.
