Bengaluru: Former CM Siddaramaiah held a secret one-to-one talk with AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge at Raipur during the time of Congress All India Convention.
This meeting lasted for 45 minutes.
According to the sources, both leaders’ hotel rooms were opposite to each other. On the night of Sunday February 26, Siddaramaiah went to Kharge’s room and held discussion on the party strategy for the next Assembly election.
Sources further added that Kharge has assured Siddaramaiah that Congress Working Committee’s election committee will be formed soon to finalise tickets atleast 150 Constituencies where party can win.
