Bengaluru: The Kempegowda International Airport in Devanahalli Taluk was packed with passengers on Saturday December 24 as the number of passengers travelling home increased due to a series of holidays, including Christmas, at the end of the year. The airport was packed with passengers since early morning and the staff wasengrossed in controlling them.
Masks were made mandatory for foreign passengers, including Covid reports. masks were distributed from the airport itself to passengers who did not have masks. Passengers who were still carrying additional luggage, at the time of giving it for verification, saw queues at the time of submission of fares, while there was a slow work activity in the installation of the tag.
More than 80,000 people booked flight tickets in a single day on Saturday as the number of people arriving and departing from Bengaluru from various states, including abroad, increased.
